The various other tricks can be better explained by examining the help files available on whatever browser you're using. The best advice we can give you is to just try pressing a few of the links and following them around. You really can't break anything, so don't worry -- just explore. If this doesn't help, try asking for help from someone who does know what's going on. There's more than 90 people in this class, surely at least one of them knows what to do! If you're still having problems, come and talk to use and we'll try to help.
Once you have the file on your computer, you can generally view it with several different programs. If you're at one of the student computer sites, simply double-click on the file and it should open up in one of many possible programs (JPEGView, GIFWatcher, and QuickGIF are common Mac programs, there are many IBM programs which do the same thing).
Once you're have the file open, just pick a local printer and choose Print... or Print Window from the File menu. We recommend that you use a laser printer, because a dot matrix printer may have trouble with these images. We also recommend you print with the "grayscale" option (which should be chosen automatically) as it will make things easier to read. Each of the programs listed above are Freeware or Shareware, so if you need a copy at home, they can be copied from any of the CCSO Sites.
