CIEPCA Newsletters
The Centre d'Information et d'Echanges sur les Plantes de Couverture
en Afrique (CIEPCA) or Center for Cover Crops Information and Seed Exchange
in Africa was designed to assist researchers in Africa in developing appropriate
cover cropping systems. CIEPCA published a newsletter biannually between November
1998 and November 2001 in both French and English to disseminate information
on many aspects of cover crops. All eight are available at http://ppathw3.cals.cornell.edu/mba_project/ciepca/Newsl.html
as downloadable pdfs; selected newsletters are also available in html with
and without graphics .
Mucuna
News
Mucuna News
is a bulletin intended to serve as an informal forum for information exchange
on issues related to food and feed uses of Mucuna, several species
of which are well-known green manure/cover crops. These bulletins were published
during 2001 and 2002 by the Center for Cover Crops Information and Seed Exchange
in Africa (CIEPCA), which was housed at the Benin station of the International
Institute of Tropical Agriculture. Mucuna News is available on-line
in pdf version or html version with graphics or without graphics at http://ppathw3.cals.cornell.edu/mba_project/ciepca/MuNews.htm.
Legume Research Network Project Newsletters
The
LRNP Newsletter has been published biannually by the Legume Reserach
Network Project since June 1999. The Newsletter includes upcoming activities,
events and short articles on legume research, especially those based on research
aimed at integrating legumes into smallholder agriculture in various regions
of Kenya. The project is primarily funded by the Rockefeller Foundation and
Kenya Agriculture Research Institute (KARI) at the National Agriculture Research
Laboratories (NARL). Issues 1-9 (June 1999-June 2003) are currently accessible
as pdf files. On-line copies are available at http://ppathw3.cals.cornell.edu/mba_project/CIEPCA/lrnpnews.html.
